Samsung patented smart glasses

Apparently Samsung is focusing not only on smart watches as the next step in technology. Now the daily Wall Street Journal reported that the company would have patented a sports sunglasses including the ability to make calls on the move .

According to the paper, a note attached to several drawings of the device presented by Samsung earlier this year indicates that " this design is kind of glasses with integrated headphones to take calls and listen to music during workouts ."

The device is connected to a smartphone and displays information alerts that runs on the phone which offers easy access to the control when the users hands are linked with sports activities . The device has a lens which is transparent or translucent

More apparently to compete with Google Glass the objective of this device would be concentrated in the sports segment .

JK Shin , Samsung's CEO recently stated that although are proliferating wereable equipment ( such as watches or glasses) , will still considerable time that coexist with smartphones .
